EPL:Injury scare for Lukaku


Belgium has confirmed that Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku injured his ankle against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The 24-year-old played the 90 minutes of the 4-0 win and scored his seventh Premier League goal of the season in the 86th minute.

Lukaku is currently with the Belgian squad before qualifying for the World Cup against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday and Cyprus on Tuesday.

A statement from Belgium said: "Romelu Lukaku underwent an MRI, but no fracture or structural damage has been diagnosed.

"The next few days will follow an individual training program, but it is too early to say that it will not be suitable for the Bosnia and / or Cyprus game."

Belgium, which has 22 points, are already guaranteed to qualify as Group H winners.
