Lacazette double moves Arsenal to the top half of EPL Table

A goal in each half from Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal a 2-0 victory over West Brom at Emirates in the Premier League.

West Brom had several chances in the first half, and Jay Rodriguez had a strong call for a penalty kick in the early minutes, but the head rebounded from Lacazette (20) had Arsenal ahead of the break.
The penalty from Lacazette made Arsenal 2-0 in the middle of the second half, and that's how Arsene Wenger's team maintained their 100% record at home this season.

The result means that Arsenal advance to seventh with 10 points, while West Brom was eighth, two points behind.

In a first game full of action, West Brom felt aggrieved haven't been awarded a penalty after eight minutes after Shkodran Mustafi's trip to Rodriguez.

The incident was unpunished by referee Robert Madley, but Rodriguez recovered, striking the post for 12 yards with a beautiful touch from goalkeeper Petr Cech before Jake Livermore hit the ball wide of the post.
Arsenal took the lead in 20 minutes when Lacazette responded faster to shoot the ball five yards after Alexis Sánchez's free-kick that hit the bar and was stopped by Ben Foster's fingers.

West Brom came twice before the break; Grzegorz Krychowiak's goal line-up was only to allow Nacho Monreal to clear the line before Gareth Barry fought to close the ball after Kieran Gibbs' first game.

Lacazette almost had a second after the break, but his effort of 12 yards was magnificently deviated by the former defender of Arsenal, Gibbs, but the Frenchman did it 2-0 in 67 minutes, place after Allan Nyom pushed Aaron Ramsey into the bypass.

Ramsey was pushed back by Foster's feet in the afternoon, while Mesut Ozil made his comeback in action as a substitute for the late second half.

Arsene Wenger:
"Mustafi tackle and touches the West Brom player. He would have been given, left the advantage to the referee, and I rightly think because they are in a position where they could score, and at the end hit the post.

"So it's the kind of decision that's different, because if you do not let the advantage, and you lose it, people will say why it did not give the advantage."

Tony Pulis:
"I think everyone has seen what happened today, I think if you want to make an example of something, Sanchez really comes to the edge of the box for the first free throw and he should be booked for diving There, in my opinion, then you see the tackle in the box on jay, the referee has a great view, it's a stonewall penalty.

"Jay is honest, and he does not get his reward of being honest, we have not had any penalty in this football club for over a year and none of my players has been told to roll around".

The man of the party - Nacho Monreal

Although Lacazette stole the headlines, Monreal's the wing-back won the applause of the Arsenal fans for a guaranteed performance.

His accuracy passing(93.8 percent) was higher than the starting 22 player at the Emirates and he made more tackles (four) and interception than any other Arsenal player.

Monreal played to the left of football three on Monday night, and although he looked uncomfortable this season, the Spaniard reinforced his cause while Arsene Wenger continues to experiment his defense.
