La Liga: MESSI SET NEW RECORD HAS BARCELONA DEFEAT ALAVES


Lionel Messi after missing a penalty, score twice as Barcelona defeat Alaves 2-0. Messi two goals, made him became the first player to pass 350 goals in La Liga.
The Barcelona forward had the chance to open scoring from 12 yards in the 39th minute, but his effort was saved by Fernando Pacheco.
 10 minutes after the break, the Argentina superstar made no mistake with a deflected shot on 55 minutes to earn Barca an important victory on the road, netting his 350th goal from 384 games in the league.
Messi added his second, after Alaves failed to clear the ball.
The defeat help Barca’s to stay second at La Liga table as they adjusted to life without Neymar and the injured Luis Suarez.
