World No19 Nick kyrgios Smashes Racket

Nick Kyrgios got his frustrations out on his racket after losing the first set of his second round China Open match against Mischa Zverev

The argumentative Aussie shot a shot out at 5-3 in the match opening set in Beijing, conceding the opening set in the process.

The ball flew away - and Kyrgios made no secret of his frustration when he sent his racket flying to the ground, destroying it instantly.

The world No 19 is no stranger to a place of racket abuse, having sent several to the trash bin during his professional career.

But the reverse did not derail him in Beijing, as he won the second and third set by 6-2 markers to defeat Zverev and advance to the next stage.

And he even took time to relax during a conversation - sitting back in his chair and singing along with a song that played on the stadium speakers.
