Cesc Fabregas confirms he threw pizza at Sir Alex Ferguson during 2004 'Battle of the Buffet'

Cesc Fabregas finally confessed that he threw pizza at Sir Alex Ferguson during the famous 'Battle of the Buffet' at Old Trafford.
The Chelsea midfielder had been suspected as the culprit in 2004 after Manchester United beat Arsenal 2-0 to end their unbeaten 49-game Premier League game and confessed to the Sky One League of their own.
In the next episode, host James Corden asks Fabregas: "Tonight, can we finally put the flying pizza case on the bed once and for all?
"Yes," replied Fabregas.
"Suddenly, I heard noises (from the tunnel) and I thought it was happening, so I went out with my slice of pizza and saw Sol Campbell, Rio Ferdinand, Martin Keown ... everyone was pushing.

"I was like, I want to come in but I do not know how and I threw ... peeew ... just throw it once I saw it was hitting, like, I was hitting, what I did not mean ..."
Fabregas confirmed the pizza hit Ferguson in the face and added: "I apologize Sir Alex, it really does not mean to do that!"
The game itself was given more spice because of Ruud van Nistelrooy's treatment of Keown in the same game the year before, after the United striker had missed a penalty.
Arsenal was furious with Gary and Phil Neville for 'kicking' Jose Antonio Reyes, as well as Van Nistelrooy for his slope of Ashley Cole and Ferdinand above Freddie Ljungberg.
His sense of injustice grew as Wayne Rooney threw himself onto Campbell's outstretched leg to win a penalty that turned the game in United's favor.
